  Food is absolute pig slop if it is not off when you get it, some of the nursing staff need to go back to school to learn compasion, mannerisms and general care

  I had a total hip replacement a week ago and have spent this week recuperating on Ward C. Excellent nursing and medical staff, I can't speak too highly of them. They do a a great job under trying circumstances. It's obvious where the health cuts handed down by the LNP have hit - maintenance - a light that wouldn't turn off, a wheel that fell off a bed whilst the patient was in it. Catering - Food that you wouldn't feed to a dog. I have never had a 'curry' before that consisted of a gelatinous, amorphous brown mush with a curry smell that had four pieces of an indeterminate 'meat'. It was supposed to be lamb. Served with packet mix mashed potato. Not a vegetable in sight. How people are supposed to get better on that sort of crap is beyond me.

  I'm very grateful for the caring, professional service when recently in hospital. Everyone was so attentive and I felt at ease and a special thank you to the amazing catering staff as the food was really great and they catered so well for my special dietary needs. Thank you to all the wonderful nurses and support staff, we're so lucky to have the Port Pirie Regional Health Service in our city.

  Rang the front desk to be directed through to a ward 9.30a.m 21/09/2016. Lucky this rude receptionist didn't give me her name.No need for rudeness especially when our loved ones are in hospital and we are calling from interstate...Shame on you for your lack of compassion and rudeness!
